How to Move Beyond Healing and Into the Identity of Healthy

So you’ve shifted your identity from “trauma” or “issue” to “healing” that trauma or issue. Beautiful. But here’s the thing: that’s just the halfway house 🙏🏼

The magic happens when you take tiny, aligned actions toward “well-ing” instead of staying fully identified as “healing.”

 

YES, awareness of ____ 🤍

YES, deciding and committing to heal 🤍

AND, most importantly …

You’ve got to decide and commit to “well” yourself.

 

What does “well-ing” even mean?

That little suffix “-ing” = action verb. “Well-ing” is simply taking actions that bring relief, feel better, or at least good-er 🫶🏼

 

It’s the small, aligned steps toward what you say you want:

 

… It’s choosing JOMO. The joy of missing out. Opting out of one holiday hang to quiet your nervous system 🤍 Taking a pause amid the chaos.

 

… It’s a lunch choice. Asking yourself, “What would a healthy person choose?” Choosing it. And suddenly you feel better  … both physically, and because you’re proud of your choice! And that one aligned action often leads to another, like actually hitting the gym later.

 

This is where the shift happens.

 

The decision to heal is the setup. “Well-ing” is the follow-through.

 

Decide and commit to yourself beyond the healing.
Decide and commit to the manifestation beyond the manifestation.

 

Include “well-ing” in your everyday! Taking small aligned action towards what you say you want is how noticeable shifts appear 🤍🙏🏼
