2 Ingredient Jam

Ingredients

~ 2 tbsp chia seeds
~ 2 cups raspberries (or any berries!

 

Instructions

~ add 2 cups frozen berries to a small sauce pan over low heat (if you use fresh berries, add 1/4 cup water)

~ cook on a low simmer until berries are defrosted and bubbly (about 15 mins for frozen)

~ smash berries with a spatula or potato masher. mash until they are the consistency you want (more mashing, less chunks)

~ add 2 tbsp of chia seeds, mix until well combined.

~ let it bubble for another 5 minutes, then remove from the heat.

~ let it cool for a few minutes, then transfer to a glass jar.

~ let it cool completely before covering and placing in the fridge.

Notes

 the chia seeds will thicken over night and release all their nutrients once they’re plump! … this is best made the night before to let the chia seeds thicken
